Termite Inspections

Termite Inspections are $150 when added to an inspection service, $175 when performed alone.

Termite Damage

A termite inspection, also known as a Wood-Destroying Insect (WDI) inspection, evaluates a property for evidence of termites and other wood-destroying pests that can damage structural components. During the inspection, accessible areas of the home are examined for active infestations, previous damage, and conditions that may attract future pest activity. Termite inspections are especially important during real estate transactions because damage is often hidden behind walls, beneath flooring, or within crawl spaces. At Arrow Home Inspections, we provide professional WDI inspections to help buyers, sellers, and lenders identify potential concerns before closing. Most lenders require an NPMA-33 form to be submitted for loan approval, and our inspectors are professionally trained on completing these so your deadlines are met!

The inspection covers more than termites

A WDI inspection may identify evidence of carpenter ants, carpenter bees, wood-boring beetles, and other wood-destroying insects.

3

Hidden damage can be expensive

Wood-destroying insects cause billions of dollars in property damage nationwide each year.

4

VA lenders often require documentation before closing

If evidence of infestation or damage is discovered, treatment or repairs may be required before loan approval. We utilize the VA approved NPMA-33 form.
